In reference to clarification by IGNOU in “Reader’s Write” column of Daily Excelsior dated 13/08/19 issue, it is sad that the authorities haven’t executed the same.
The Programme Study Centres established for the learners of B.Ed Programme under IGNOU-SSA project are not executing the desired goals as per the schedule given by IGNOU. They are meant to facilitate the learners by organising various activities as per the schedule. But unfortunately, internship workshops for the Ist year are being conducted in the IInd year. Moreover, study material has not been delivered to the learners. The learners approached the study centres several times but in vain, as there is no proper response regarding the delay of scheduled activities and study material.
The learners are facing problems as their exams are a couple of months ahead and they are not having study material. Moreover, the Personal Contact Programmes for the Ist and IInd year have not been conducted. The teachers serving in rural areas are facing a lot of problems regarding the content. Hence, it is requested to conduct PCPs.
