This is to draw the attention of the Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand who also holds the Education portfolio towards the seniority list of Masters in English discipline. Almost all lists of Master who are to be promoted as Lecturers (10+2) in various disciplines have been released by the Department and subsequently published in various newspapers of the State for general information of the candidates. But the seniority list of masters in English stream has not been released so far by the Department. The inordinate delay in the list has become a cause of worry for the would be lecturers.
Here it may be mentioned that most of the schools in the State do not have English lecturers. In some schools, the classes are run by these masters.
Keeping the interests of schools and masters in view, it is requested that the list be issued at the earliest so that the masters could be considered for promotion.
