Playground at Bhour Camp

This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities that there is no playground at village Bour Camp where players could play and practice. There is already some land near Balol Nallah which could be turned into playground. It may be mentioned here that this ground had been occupied by UEED for treatment plant but no plant came up there.
Ultimately UEED transferred the land to Floriculture Department which finally divided it into two parts and handed over one part to the Forest Department. The concerned department in turn fenced it, thereby deprived the players from playing inside the ground. It is therefore requested to the Lt Governor of JK UT to direct the concerned department to reserve this peace of land for playground.

Laxmi Nagar cries for black topped lanes
We, the residents of Mohalla Lower Laxmi Nagar Sarwal are pained to bring your kind notice that our area has been neglected for the last many years despite our requests to our elected representatives and concerned agencies. We have been tossed between two wards, i.e Ward No. 18 and Ward No. 26. Due to this factor the paths in our mohalla are in a shambles.
As the Mohalla is situated on two sides of a nallah, the residents have often to face the fury of the Nallah when it is in spate. During torrential rains, the water of the nallah enters the houses of the people causing tremendous loss to property of the people. One of the causes of the nallah getting choked is that sweepers dump whole refuse into this nallah thereby blocking easy flow of water.
The paths are so much damaged that it becomes difficult for motorists to ply on them, particularly, during nights. A number of accidents have already taken place so far in this area.
Hope the concerned authorities would take necessary measures so that the residents may feel at ease.

These two public places usually remain crowded as people have to carry out their business, but due to presence of stray dogs that too in huge numbers, people try to avoid it. Various dog bite cases are reported from this place. School going children or women folk feel unsafe in these spots.
Besides, a number of accidents have taken place where both motorists and dogs have become casualties.
To avoid such a situation, the authorities are requested to find a solution to this burning problem which may assume alarming proportions if not addressed at the earliest.

Repair Vikas Nagar Lane
This is to draw the attention of the concerned JMC authorities towards the worst condition of Lane No. 2 (Vikas Nagar). The lane was dug by a mobile company three years back for laying cable, but the Mulba that generated is still lying there. Nobody is bothered to remove it. This has caused great inconvenience to the residents in smooth movement, particularly during night hours. It has been observed that scooterists often fall in this lane due it uneven surface.
It is requested that the lane be blacktopped so that people can heave a sigh of relief.

Widen and blacktop Muthi-Akalpur road
We want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the road link connecting National Highway at Muthi on one side and Akalpur Road on other side. This road is a one way road, and needs to be made a two way road to accommodate to and fro movement of vehicles. It has been often observed that the opposite coming vehicles face tremendous problem to make way for one another.
This road needs to be widened and black-topped on priority as motorists passing by this road while facing the problem often plunge into brawls.
It may be mentioned that this is a busy road catering to the needs of a vast chunk of population living in this area.
