JAMMU, Aug 28: A piping ceremony was held today in Crime Branch CICE Jammu to decorate two Inspectors with new ranks following their promotion by J&K Home Department to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP).
The piping ceremony was presided over by Mohd Yaseen Kichloo, Senior Superintendent of Police CICE J&K who personally piped the two officers.
The two officers promoted to the rank of DySP include DySP Jagdeep Singh and DySP Lalit Kumar. Congratulating the officers, the SSP CICE lauded their hard work, integrity and professionalism.
He urged them to continue serving with dedication in their new roles, particularly in handling new emerging crimes, financial crimes and so on. The promotion is not just a recognition of past service, but also a reminder of the greater responsibility that comes with higher rank, he said.
