DODA, July 11: A formal piping ceremony was organized here today in the office of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta for the promoted Head Constables (HCs), who were promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs).
The event was attended by senior police officials, including Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarter Doda, Ajay Anand and SHO Police Station Doda, Inspector Pervaiz Ahmed Khanday.
The promoted officers who received their new ranks were Mohd Hussain, Zakir Ali, Irshad Ahmed, Javaid Iqbal, Ziafat Ali, Raj Mohd, Altaf Hussain, Shehzad Hussain, Raj Kumar, Shamas Din and Beer Singh, Manohar Lal.
During the ceremony the officers were pinned with their new insignia.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta emphasized that the promotion to ASI is a recognition of the dedication and hard work of HCs but this also brings added responsibilities.
SSP Mehta highlighted the importance of continuous learning and dedication to serve the community effectively urging the officers to be exemplary in their conduct and to work diligently for the safety and security of the district.
