NEW DELHI, July 22: A delegation from the People of India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PIOCCI) called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, in New Delhi to discuss ways to boost investment and economic growth in the Union Territory.
Led by PIOCCI Secretary General Kirti Sharma and Lalit Mahajan, the delegation spoke about strengthening business ties with overseas Indians in sectors like technology, agriculture, education, healthcare, tourism, and green energy.
They also informed the LG about plans to organise a Global Investment Summit focused on Ladakh.
The LG highlighted Ladakh’s vast investment potential in areas such as eco-tourism, renewable energy, organic farming, handicrafts, and skill development.
He assured full Government support for investors through incentives, ease of doing business, and better infrastructure.
The LG invited entrepreneurs and global investors to see Ladakh as an emerging hub for sustainable and high-impact development.
