JAMMU, Jan 21: A deputation of Water Works PHE Employees Association (PHEEA) met Executive Engineer and raised their issues.
The deputation was led by Balbder Raj, Provincial General Secretary of the Association and it raised the issue of pending wages of daily wagers working in the department and alleged that pick and choose policy was adopted by the authorities concerned to release the wages.
Other demands raised by the deputation were DPC at Division level, release of pending wages of daily wagers, repair of tube wells/stations and issuing torch, raincoat, charcoal etc to the linemen of the department.
Mitul Sharma, Provincial General Secretary; Birbal Sharma, Ram Krishan, Ajay Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Manohar Lal, Parshotam Singh, Baldeev Singh and others were also present in the deputation.
