REASI, June 10: PHE Workers Welfare Association held a one day protest demonstration under the leadership of Tara Mani Bhagat, district president in support of their long pending demands of the employees, today.
The employees raised slogans against anti workers politics adopted by the concerned authorities of the PHE Department . They highlighted their demands like regularization of both ITI and non ITI workers after five years, rates of daily wagers workers @ 300 day, release of all pending wages of workers for the last 16-26 months, disbursement of wages to all sorts of PHE works before 5th of every month regularly, framing of new concrete requirement policy for the PHE Department, holding of DPC meeting at all levels, creations of higher scale posts or rationalization of pay scales of fields and operational staff to remove the stagnation etc.
The PHE Workers Welfare Association , district Reasi have decided to go on Kham Chor Hartal on June 30th, 2014 for 24 hours if they demands are not met.
Other present on the occasion were Mohd Shafi Malik, Munshi Ram Bali, Mohan Singh , Anil Verma, Bhanu Sharma, Prithvi Singh, Adbul Kriam, Bhushan Sharma and Ashok Sharma.
