Petitions Committee recommends regularization of casual labourers of Agri Deptt

JAMMU, Dec 9: A meeting of the Committee on Petitions of Legislative Assembly was held under the chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar here today.
Legislators Yawar Dillawar Mir, Altaf Ahmed Wani, Rajeev Jasrotia, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Gulzar Ahmed Wani and Anjum Fazili attended the meeting and gave their suggestions regarding the petitions.
Financial Commissioner, Agriculture Department, Pramod Jain briefed the committee on various aspects of the petition.
The Committee directed the concerned to regularize the casual labourers of the Agriculture Department as per the judgment given by the High Court.
Among others, senior officers of Agriculture Department and Assembly Secretariat were also present on the occasion.
