JAMMU, Dec 2: BJP’s candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency, Kavinder Gupta visited Nanak Nagar, Sainik Colony, Kunjwani, Digiana, Rajiv Nagar, Nawabad and Sunjwan in connection with his election campaigning.
While addressing the massive  gatherings at these places, Kavinder Gupta said that the Assembly elections this time carry more significance as the people are yearning for a change in the State and they want to bring in BJP by defeating the parties which have always betrayed them after getting their votes on pleasing slogans and promises.
Gupta said that the people of Jammu province have anger and resentment against Congress in particular on whom they showered their faith but in return got nothing except lip service.
Making a scathing attack on Congress Minister & sitting MLA from Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta said that the MLA has just one achievement and that is he is now being called as foundation stone leader because he only laid foundation stones, got his name plates installed and never turned back to see if the work ever got started or executed. At many places, only name plates are visible even after six years with no work taken into hand.
Gupta, while reiterating Party’s commitment for good governance, development and ending dynasty rule, said that the people should teach Congress a lesson for its attitude towards the burning issues of the weaker sections living in Gandhi Nagar constituency. He appealed the voters not to get trapped into the false and misleading claims of development of the sitting MLA anymore and give chance to BJP promising that the people will not have to regret.
