DODA, Jan 30: The residents held protest over shortage of doctors and equipment at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Malanoo in Sub Division Kahara.
Amid slogans, a large number of people residing in Malanoo and surrounding areas assembled at PHC Malanoo and held protest against shortage of doctors and equipments.
While speaking, Mohammad Nadeem said that the Government claims to improve the health services, but rural population continue to suffer for want of even basic medical facilities.
The protestors demanded immediate filling up of vacant posts of doctors in PHC Malanoo.
After getting information, hospital administration reached the spot and pacified the protesting people by assuring them to take up their issues with the concerned authorities.
On the assurance, the protestors dispersed.
