MENDHAR, Apr 6: A protest demonstration was held today here at Tehsil Office complex by the local populace against shortage and black-marketing of ration.
A large number of local residents assembled this morning at Tehsil Office Complex and staged a protest demonstration against unavailability of ration including kerosene oil in the local depot.
Raising slogans against the local administration, the protesting people said that the genuine ration card holders are not getting kerosene oil and the same is being sold in the market by depot owners in connivance with local TSO. They demanded immediate removal of the present TSO.
They further alleged that the beneficiaries are not getting ration as per the quota fixed by the Government and demanded the administration to ensure that they be provided the same henceforth.
