The memorandum registered as No.jklpuf/110/2025, seeks the Prime Minister’s intervention in resolving critical issues related to pensionery benefits for retirees in Jammu and Kashmir (UT) and Ladakh (UT).
The Pensioners United Front has brought to the Prime Minister ‘s attention the recent validation by the Parliament of the CCS (Pension) rules as part of the Finance Bill 2025. This validation underscores the principle that Central Government can establish distinct pensionary benefits based on retirement dates. However, the Front has highlighted that despite this validation, pensioners continue to face challanges due to the government’s failure to implement the recommendations of the Central Pay Commission uniformly across all the pensioners.
The Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Pensioners United Front has urged the Prime Minister to take immediate action to the concerns raised by the pensioners and ensure that pensioners are not devoid of what the are entitled for .
