The proposed Peerkho-Mahamaya ropeway project will be another attraction for the people of the State especially Jammuites. The project will attract tourists, particularly pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi who come in thousands. The project will be an excellent spot for recreation. Picnicers and school children would like to have a joy ride during vacations.
Besides, it will generate employment opportunities to unemployed youth of the region.
Therefore, no time shall be lost in executing the project, as it will incur more expenditure due to rising prices of building material and labour wages etc. It will be a public asset for the coming generations.
