JAMMU, Mar 8: Peer Kho Mela will be inaugurated on March 10 at 4: 00 pm and this will be followed by cultural programmes by Tourism Department.
Addressing a press conference here today Peer Rajinder Nath, Mahant Peer Kho temple said the Mela on Maha Shiv Ratri festival will be organized by the Tourism Department.
“On March 11 Maha Shiv Ratri celebrations will be held at the temple and cultural programme will also be there at 4:00 pm,” he said adding that next day on March 12 there will be Bhandara at 12:00 noon in the temple complex and cultural programmes will be at 4:00 pm.
The Mahant said that on March 13, there will be Dhavaj Poojan at 1:00 pm and Vishal Dangal at 3:00 pm.
He thanked Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Tourism Department Jammu for organizing this Mela.
He appealed to the devotees to attend the religious festival at Peer Kho Temple and get blessed by Almighty Shiva.
Mahant Rajesh Ji, President Madhav Trust, Yogi Karan Nath Ji, Yogi Pawan Nath Ji, Yogi Dharti Nath Ji and Shashi Khajuria, Secretary LBN Radiations of Hope Cancer Foundation Trust were also present in the press conference.
