Pedestrian arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Oct 6: Sainik Colony police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ nabbed a pedestrian along with ganja.
As per police sources, during checking near railway track Sainik Colony, a pedestrian carrying plastic bag was intercepted.
During checking, police recovered 4 packets of ganja weighing around 4.800 kg and arrested the pedestrian.
A case under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Channi Himant and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Sainik Colony police post SI Mohammed Irfan made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Channi Inspector Sajad Haider, SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
