SRINAGAR, Feb 5: In a major boost to Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), a prominent leader from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) here today joined DPAP along with hundreds of supporters.
Ghulam Nabi Bhat Palapori, Zonal president PDP for Eidgah joined DPAP in presence of its chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad and said that he was impressed with the vision and leadership qualities of Azad.
He said that DPAP is the only party that envisages vision and direction to lead J&K in right direction and overcome the prevailing political chaos on ground.
Palapori said that DPAP was the only party with pro-people agenda and it has been agitating across J&K against land eviction order by the government.
Azad welcomed Palapori into his Party folds and said that his joining will give a boost to DPAP at ground level since he enjoys a good reputation among masses.
