SRINAGAR, Aug 2: Vice President, District Committee, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Srinagar Abdul Rouf Bhat has been suspended from basic membership of the party for his anti party activities.
In a statement by the party spokesman, Abdul Rouf Bhat was suspended by Abdul Rehman Veeri, Chairman, Disciplinary Committee, PDP.
Meanwhile, PDP today also issued a show cause notice to party leader Fazal Mehmood Baig from Baramulla.
Fazal was asked to clear his position within seven days as he has gone against the party decision to contest as an independent candidate against the party’s nominated candidate from Sangrama.
