KISHTWAR, Jan 30: Amid voices to bring Muzaffar Hussain Baig to the fore front of party, district presidents Kishtwar and Doda, Sheikh Nasir Hussain and Shahab- ul- Haque Butt today reposed faith in the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti.
“She is our topmost leader and will remain our leader” Party presidents of twin districts have said while interacting with media persons.
In their statement the leaders have said that Mehbooba Mufti is undisputed leader and final authority in the party. They have said that Muzaffar Hussain Baigh is a veteran leader and one of the founders of the party and they equally respect him and are of the opinion that party need his blessings and support.
“She is most accepted leader in all sections of party and we will overcome all the difficulties under her leadership”, they said.
Baig is able to play a very effective role in this difficult time and we are hopeful that he will keep the party united. Both the leaders have appealed party cadre to remain united and discourage any move aimed to divide the party.
While terming the prolonged detention of politicians in Jammu and Kashmir as “unjustified and uncalled for”, they sought immediate release of all detained political leaders, including its president and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
