PDP discusses expansion of Rajouri unit, local issues

RAJOURI, Sept 12: District Committee of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rajouri, convened a significant meeting under the chairmanship of general secretary Mohammad Rashid Qureshi alongside District president Anjum Mirza here today.
The meeting was attended by prominent leaders and office bearers, including State spokesperson Tazeem Dar, additional spokesperson Shokat Choudhary, Asif Kataria, Youth general secretary Majid Shah, Haq Nawaz, Asif Bhat, Tahir Lone, Liaqat Chowdhary, Maqsood Khan, Rashid Khan, Master Meer Mohd, Dr Rizwan Mirza, Saleem Naz Mughal, Rishi Kumar, Mohd Sayeed, District Youth president Rajouri Imran Hussain, and all Zone and Block presidents.
The meeting primarily focused on expansion of the Party base in Rajouri District. The strategy was discussed to strengthen the organizational structure at the grassroot level by involving more youth women, and community representatives in the political process PDP leaders engaged in detailed discussions on the pressing concerns of the people, including unemployment infrastructural gaps, lack of basic amenities and the need for responsive governance.
Speakers emphasized the PDP’s commitment to being the voice of the common people and carrying forward the party’s mission of peace, development, and inclusivity. It was resolved that the district leadership would intensify outreach programs, conduct regular public interactions, and ensure that the grievances of the masses are effectively highlighted at appropriate forums.
Leaders underscored that the PDP in Rajouri stands dedicated to both strengthening the party at the grassroots and fighting for the rights and welfare of the people.
