PDP candidate from Pahalgam holds massive public meetings

ANANTNAG, Dec 2: PDP candidate from Pahalgam Assembly Segment Rafi Ahmed Mir held massive public meetings in various parts of his Constituency and appealed people to give massive mandate to his Party and strengthen it to throw out corrupt elements from the public life.
Mr Mir, while making a scathing attack on coalition said during six years of NC-Congress rule the development came to a standstill. The ruling party indulged in politics of revenge and it failed to address the basic problems of unemployed youth, working class, peasants and other sections of society.
Mir said after PDP comes to power all the public welfare schemes launched during the Mufti Mohammed Sayeed’s rule will be re-started to put the State on path of progress. Besides, the democratic institutions will be strengthened to ensure larger participation people in the poll process. The meetings were addressed by him at Seer, Salia, Ashmuqam and Logripora.
Meanwhile, PDP Migrant Cell leaders O N Saproo, Ashok Dhar, B B Raina, Sudesh Bhat, M K Raina held corner meetings at Jammu and appealed voters to vote for the Party.
