JAMMU, Jan 9: The Power Development Department (PDD) officials today conducted visit to various areas and penalized the consumers involved in power theft.
A team of PDD including Suresh Kumar Sudan, AEE, BB Sharma, AE, Mohammad Iqbal, JE, Sanjay Koul, FM along with field staff visited Ramzanpura, Gujjar Mohalla, Paloura and Janipur areas and removed all illegal connections. The team also penalized the people involved in power theft.
The team asked the people to desist from power theft otherwise strict action will be taken against them if found guilty.
