JAMMU, Dec 24: All J&K Casual Labourers Union of PDD has demanded release of pending wages of the workers.
The members of the Union who are on indefinite strike/ dharna for the last more than two weeks are demanding immediate release of pending wages of the labourers. They alleged that despite assurance by the senior officers and Chief Engineer PDD, their wages have not been released. Even the MOS Power Vikar Rasool had given assurance in this regard but nothing happened.
They also demanded framing of proper regularization policy and conversion of PDL/TDL. They warned to intensify struggle if the demands are not met.
