JAMMU, Feb 13: Government has attached the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) for poor performance in the realization of electricity tariff.
Official sources said that when the Minister of State for Power Vikar Rasool was reviewing the performance of the officers in a meeting held yesterday, it came to fore that power tariff realization by the Assistant Executive Engineer, Hiranagar was lowest across the Jammu region.
Taking serious note of this, Minister issued directions for attachment of the officer. Accordingly, Principal Secretary Power Development Department, Arun Mehta issued orders attaching AEE in the office of Development Commissioner Power.
