SRINAGAR, Apr 6: In a meeting of party cadres and other office bearers of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) of Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal districts here at party headquarters, PCC discussed the socio political situation obtaining in the State besides many issues of public importance.
The meeting was presided over by MLC and vice president, JKPCC, Gulam Nabi Monga. On the occasion, former senior bureaucrat and prominent personality, Mohd Aslam Laigoroo addressed the meeting.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included spokesperson, Farooq Andrabi, senior leader, Gulam Nabi Mir Lasjan, Ex MLC, Haji Ali Mohd Bhat, secretary, Irfan Naqib, Imtiyaz Khan, Gulam Mohd Ganie, Ab Rehman Magray, Aijaz Ahmad Shiekh, Shameema Raina, Shameema Khan and others.
Addressing the meeting Gulam Nabi Monga urged upon the party cadres to gear up for forthcoming ULB and Panchayat elections and reach out to the people with the policies and programmes of the Congress party.
Monga emphasized the need for working tirelessly for overall development of all the three regions of State and urged upon the Party cadres to remain steadfast in serving the masses as it is the Congress party alone which stands guarantee to progress and prosperity of the people in all the three regions.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohd Aslam Laigoroo told the meeting that it is the Congress party alone which has remained dedicated to the cause of serving the people to the best of its ability and is highly concerned about the overall development of the State and people.
He urged upon the Party cadres to reach out to the people in Srinagar and elsewhere and fight for resolution of the issues people are facing.
