SAMBA, June 16: Senior Congress leader and former MLA Indu Pawar today paid rich tribute to the Indian Armed Forces for their extraordinary courage and sacrifices during Operation Sindoor, describing their action as a symbol of India’s unwavering resolve against terrorism and external threats.
Speaking at the Jai Hind Sabha organised in Samba district, by Sanjeev Sharma district president, Pawar said the recent operation launched by Indian forces in response to the Pahalgam terror attack had once again proved that India will never bow before the forces of terror. The Yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation including ex-Minister Yashpal Kundal working president Babel Gupta. All Congress workers participating in the Yatra held the national flag (Tiranga) in their hands and raised spirited slogans of Jai Hind.
“Our soldiers displayed unparalleled bravery during Operation Sindoor, not only neutralising threats across the border but also sending a strong and clear message that India will not tolerate attacks on its people or its sovereignty,” she said.
Pawar claimed that the bravery of the Indian forces in the face of cross-border terrorism was not just a tactical success but a moral victory for the entire nation. “Each soldier who participated in this operation upheld the highest traditions of the Indian Army — courage, discipline and commitment to the motherland. The entire country is proud of their valour and sacrifice,” she added.
