Pawan Shastri briefs Minister, seeks more buses to Haridwar

Jammu, Nov 19: Satish Sharma, Minister, Transport, Food, Civil Supply & Consumer Affairs, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Service & Sports, Ari & Training, visited “Sankat Mochan Panch Mukhi Shree Hanuman Mandir Bhawan situated at B.C. Road, Jammu today and performed Puja Archana, besides distribution of Langar Prashad among the devotees of Lord Hanuman Ji.
Pawan Kumar Shastri, president of the Trust while welcoming the Minister apprised him about the day-to-day activities, functioning/ programmes, being organised in the Mandir Bhawan at B.C. Road, Jammu. He also apprised the Minister about certain burning problems being faced by the visiting yatris/devotees especially for the aggrieved parivars who happen to visit Haridwar in emergency for Immersion of ashes and performing of other Karam Kand (Asthiyan Visarjan) of their near and dears as per Hindu Mythology which are to be solemnised at Ganga Ji Ghat.
He further said that presently the Indian Railways run an exclusive Train service from Katra to Rishikesh namely Hemkunt Express which is always found packed to capacity from Katra itself causing great hardships for the Jammuities to get proper reservation in the Train and thus has earnestly made a request to the Minister for providing of Govt. Mini Bus Service carrying 19-20 passenger to Haridwar atleast thrice in a week.
