REASI, Mar 2: Advocate Pawan Dev Singh has been re-elected as President of the District Bar Association for a second consecutive term as the elections were held today at the District Court Complex, Reasi.
He secured 67 votes and defeated Advocate Rakeshjeet Singh with a margin of 42 votes.
In a triangular contest for the post of Vice President, Advocate Rajnesh Singh was elected after securing 40 votes. He defeated Advocate Deepak Kumar Atri with a margin of 11 votes. Advocate Harish Kumar Sharma secured 23 votes.
Advocate Abhinav Pandotra was elected as General Secretary. He received 54 votes and defeated Advocate Shubham Sharma with a margin of 16 votes.
Advocate Avinash Sharma was elected as Joint Secretary with 63 votes, defeating Advocate Deepak Kumar Tanotra, who secured 27 votes.
Advocate Vijay Kumar Sharma was elected unopposed for the post of Cashier.
