JAMMU, July 25: A patient undergoing treatment at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, went missing this morning.
According to a police official, Sudesh Kumar alias Mangu son of Shiv Ram, resident of Barnada (Majalta) of Udhampur district was under doctors’ observation at Bed No 1 in Ward No 7 of GMC Jammu after he was operated upon for appendix on last Sunday.
He said today morning, the patient went missing from the Hospital and could not be traced despite search by the attendants after which they submitted a missing complaint at police station Bakshi Nagar. “On the basis of the complaint, an FIR has been registered at police station Bakshi Nagar,” he added.
The official said that any information about the missing patient may be communicated to police station Bakshi Nagar or at mobile phone number 9797556027.
