RAMNAGAR, Sept 22: MLA Ramnagar, R S Pathania today reiterated his focus on boosting pilgrimage tourism in Ramnagar and Majalta tehsils, which, he claimed, shall boost local employment as well exposure and development of the area.
While addressing party workers and general public during an extensive tour of the area, he also reiterated focus on proper development, projection and creation of state-of-art tourism facilities at Devi Bani temple at Manwal, Vasuki Nag Temples at Dudu, Basantgarh and Gandh Top, Narsingh temples at Ramnagar and Jansal, Aapshambu temples at Dalsar & Khoon, ancient Nag temple at Mansar, and Chountara Mata, Bihana Choun, and Pingla Mata shrines.
He said that thousands of devotees visit each of these shrines every year but State has done least to provide adequate infrastructural facilities at these shrines. He informed the people that a road estimating about Rs 27 crores is going to be commissioned for providing connectivity to the famous shrine of Chountara Mata. He also vowed to provide road connectivity to the shrines of Pingla Mata and Bihana Choun Mata. He also called for developing Tamdyal and Shiv Gali temple as centers of tourist attraction.
He also reiterated his resolve for proper conservation, beautification and proper development of Mansar and Surinsar lakes as irrespective of the aesthetic value of these lakes, the sentiments and devotional feelings of lacs of people are inseparably attached to both of these lakes.
Mr Pathania also called upon the party cadres and people of Ramnagar to not to get carried away or deviated by empty rhetoric and irresponsible criticism of certain political parties and political wayfarers. “The people of Ramnagar have given the mandate of change to BJP as such the party cadres of BJP have greater responsibility of not only developing Ramnagar but giving a four-dimensional fillip to it, while developing its natural and human resource and providing employment avenues to the unemployed youth of the area,” he said.
