MAJALTA, Feb 27: MLA Udhampur East, Ranbir Singh Pathania here today laid the foundation of administrative block at Majalta Health Centre.
A handout stated that the project will be completed with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 4.19 crore.
Addressing the gathering, Pathania said, “My goal is to ensure that healthcare services reach every corner of my constituency.”
He informed about the key developments in pipeline including the provision of residential quarters at PHC Bharnara and the construction of an additional block at PHC Khoon.
Pathania expressed displeasure over the current operation of ambulances in the area and urged for immediate action to address the substandard services.
At village Pinger and Sehal Kauribari, the MLA inspected Fair Price Shop while at Sehal Kauri Ber he found substandard rice being distributed to Anganwadi centers.
He visited the Government High School in Sehal Kauri Ber and noted lack of water facilities rendering the toilets there non-functional.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Mohammad Yasin, Executive Engineer PWD, Parshottam Joshi, SHO Majalta, Sohan, Singh, Block Medical Officer Majalta, AAE, JE and several other staff members apart from Mohan Lal Sharma, Mandal Pradhan, Anil Sharma, Shiv Darshan Singh, Gurudev Singh, Menna Rani, Bholi Devi, Sunita Panch, Vijay Sharma, Prem Nath, Hazara and many others.
