Pathania for special focus on far flung, neglected areas

UDHAMPUR, Aug 7: While conducting a tour of various far-flung bad pocket areas of district Udhampur and addressing largely attended gatherings at Dharnu, Satyalta, Barmeen, Ghordi, Tentha, Sundla, Town Hall Ramnagar, Ranbir Singh Pathania, spokesperson, JKBJP and ex MLA called for a massive, persistent focus on far-flung, hitherto neglected areas.
Pathania further said that various initiatives have been announced by Bharat Sarkar – B2V1, B2V2, rural outreach programmes. But fact remains that far-flung, neglected areas are still bearing the brunt of underdevelopment and maladministration. It looks like that the people living in these areas are still living in stone-age. Due to lack of proper propagation and awareness of Government policies and schemes, people are unable to avail of the revolutionary schemes and steps taken by Modi Sarkar.
The BJP leader called for renewed focus on these far-flung, neglected areas so as to ensure basic living facilities for the people living in there.
He was accompanied by DDC member Ghordi, Rakesh Bodhi, DDC Ramnagar-I, Mool Raj, chairperson BDC Ghordi Aarti Sharma, Yash Pal, Ram Lal, Bharat Bhushan, Darshana Devi, Bikram Singh (all Sarpanches). The local people complimented him for installing a tower at village Satyalta. Pathania further said that mobile towers in very series of Basantgarh, Loudhra, Raichak, Kadwah have also been installed in the past few years with a view to ensuring voluble mobile connectivity so that the students are able to carry out their studies in this pandemic period and people also avail off a very public friendly policy programmes.
He said in future efforts will be made to install mobile towers at village Mottu, S.K Ber, Rang, Dhara and other various pockets having mobile connectivity issues in district Udhampur.
