RAMNAGAR, Sept 19: While conducting a comprehensive tour of Ramnagar Assembly segment, MLA RS Pathania today inaugurated the Thalley-Thanda Pani Water Supply Scheme which was completed with the cost of Rs 2.5 crore.
It will provide drinking water to habitations of Thanda Pani, Thalley, Sankri, Bassota, Poara and Danga and some hamlets with a population of more than 5000 souls.
Pathania said that after being given a chance to serve as the Legislator by the public, he set a goal for himself to develop hitherto neglected pockets of Ramnagar Assembly Segment. He said that all weather road, electricity and drinking water facility for each habitation is his cherished dream and he is promise bound for it.
Regarding Road-connectivity, Pathania informed that work on the road from Thial to Chountra under CRF at an estimated cost of Rs 26 crore and Dhemma to Thial at Rs 2.50 crore has been taken up which shall not only provide the much needed all weather road connectivity to the Shrine of Mata Chountra Devi Ji but also connect Dhar area directly with Dhar Road.
Another road from Manwal to Pinger at an cost of Rs 8 crore will directly connect Shrine of Mata Pingla Devi Ji with Dhar road.
On the issue of connectivity from Ramnagar side, Pathania informed that road from Plassan to Thanda Pani is to be Macadamised soon and Stage-II work on Plassan to Bainsta and Bainsta to Pinger shall also be taken up for upgradation very soon. Pathania set up a deadline of December, 2018, for PWD/PMGSY authorities to provide a fully metalled road from Plassann to Pinger.
Earlier during start of his tour Pathania inaugurated newly constructed buildings of Middle School Nambla and MS Thelay. Responding to public demand he announced ration depots for Pinger, Thelay and Uddak. He also announced Tourist Sarai and tiled pathway at Pinger darbar. He announced upgradation of electric transformers at Pinger and Thelay. He also announced funds for boundary wall and playground for MS Thelay.
MLA was accompanied by officers of various departments, party functionaries and prominent people of the area.
