JAMMU, Sept 17: The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the appointment of Bipul Pathak, a 1992 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, as Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary (Home) in the Government of NCT of Delhi with immediate effect.

Pathak has earlier served in key positions in Jammu and Kashmir, including as Director General of the J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development.
Meanwhile, senior IFS officer R Gopinath of the 2009 AGMUT cadre has been transferred from Andaman and Nicobar Islands and posted in the Jammu and Kashmir segment.
