HARIDWAR, Feb 21: Patanjali University here today organised the annual cultural and educational event ‘Abhyuday 2026’ based on the theme ‘From Yog-Dharam to Yug-Dharam’.
On this occasion, the students of Patanjali University staged a play on ‘Yog-Dharam Se Yug-Dharam’.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Ramdev, Vice Chancellor of Patanjali University termed the students of the varsity as flag bearers of ‘Rishi Culture’.
He said that the principals which this varsity is forwarding are deeply housed in the students of the institute.
“As per a conspiracy, many reels are in circulation on social media with the sole aim to mislead the world about India but the reality is that India was a mentor for the world and it is a mentor of the world at present also and will remain so even in the future,” Ramdev maintained.
The event was presided over by the Head of Parmarth Ashram of Rishikesh, Swami Chidanand Muni Ji.
Acharya Balkrishan lauded the presentation of Patanjali University students in the form of play and credited Sadhvi Devpriya for that.
The spiritual guide from Rishikesh, Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati, Swami M. Lal Ji and Sadhvi Devpriya of Patanjali University also spoke on the occasion.
The chief guest on this occasion was Vice Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, Dr. Shrinivas Varkhedi while the special guest was head of Sangeet and Natak Academi, Dr Sandhya Purecha.
Faculty of Banaras Hindu University, Dr. Brijbhushan Ojha expressed optimism that Bharat will again become Vishav Guru.
The main speaker was Mahamandleshwar Swami Harichetnanand Ji and he said that both Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishan have revolutionised the world of Yoga and Ayurveda.
At the end of the programme medals and certificates were distributed among the participants and also to those who excelled in the event.
