PARWS delegation meets Chief Secy

JAMMU, July 3: A delegation of Panchvati Apartments Residents Welfare Society (PARWS) today met Chief Secretary (CS) Atal Dulloo in Civil Secretariat to discuss long pending issues of the society.
The delegation apprised the Chief Secretary about the urgent works to be taken up on priority viz. facelifting of all five blocks including common areas, blacktopping/concrete laying of entire premises within the society and providing of lifts in each block of the complex as mostly senior citizens are residing in the society.
“Despite many requests and reminders to Jammu Development Authority, even a single issue has not been addressed in last many years,” the delegation said, adding “the left over/unfinished flats within the society are a threat and nuisance for the residents and need immediate attention of the concerned department.
The Chief Secretary gave a patient hearing to the delegation and forwarded their memorandum of grievances to the concerned department for action.
