JAMMU, Nov 28: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that its office in Jammu as well as Srinagar are located in Government allotted buildings and not on encroached land as is being claimed by their opponents.
Addressing a press conference, PDP leaders said that for last few days, it is coming in media that PDP office is standing on encroached Government land, which are completely baseless and false allegations.
The PDP leaders said that their offices in Srinagar and Jammu are before the year 1999. These are standing on Government allotted building to the party, which is paying their rent timely since allotment.
“Our opponents have been running a fake propaganda that PDP offices are standing on encroached land, just to defame us and there is no truth in it,” they added.
They further said that their party has timely given rent of both their offices in Srinagar as well as Jammu, whether it is of building, power, water or telephone. The PDP leaders requested the people no to pay heed to the false propaganda being run by their opponents against the party.
