UDHAMPUR, May 4: Parshuram Yuva Dal, (PYD) Udhampur celebrated Parshuram Jayanti by organizing a Shobha Yatra, today.
The religious procession began from Kargil Hanuman mandir and passed through Domail Chowk, Dhar Road, Salathia Chowk, Court Road, Mukherjee Bazaar, Dabber Chowk, Gole Market, Main Bazar, Chabutra Ralab Sallian and reached at DN Palace.
A large number of devotees of Bhagwan Parshuram including men, women and youths under the patronization of Sant Subash Shastrijee were present in the Shobha Yatra.
At D N Palace, religious preaching were delivered by Sant Subash Shastrijee. Bhajan Kirten were sung by the females devotees. Bhandar prashad was also distributed among the devotees.
Prominent citizens were also present during the celebrations of Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti.
