JAMMU, Sept 18: Ashok Parmar, an IAS officer of 1992 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre has been empanelled for the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Government of India. He is presently posted as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
He had served on various posts in the State including Vice Chairman of Jammu Development Authority (JDA), Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur and Secretary Science and Technology before shifting to the Government of Indian on Central deputation.
