JAMMU, May 18: Sanjeev Parihar from Kishtwar in Jammu Kashmir was given Mahila Suraksha Prerak Samman 2025 at the welcome ceremony of Jagte Raho Bharat Yatris organised at the residence of former MP, late Shyamacharan Gupta at Prayygraj by International Human Rights Association Praygraj Chapter. The Award was conferred to him by Chairman of the Association, Devendra, Kumar Sharma.
Sanjeev Parihar a social activist and president Social Reforms and Charitable Organisation, Kishtwar is known for his selfless services towards down trodden, weaker sections, and under privileged sections of the society. He is associated with various socio religious organizations and is running an Orphanage at Kishtwar. He bagged the Mahila Suraksha Award for his selfless service in the welfare of women folk especially in far-flung areas of J&K.
The awards were given to various personalities for their services in different fields who included social activists and media persons. Eight women were honored with Mahila Shakti Samman while 11 social workers along with 23 media representatives were given Mahila Suraksha Prerak Samman.
