JAMMU, Nov 17: The parents of newly elected migrant Sales Tax Sub Inspectors have made an appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to issue the orders to concerned officers of the Department for adjusting these hapless employees without further delay in their respective areas.
In a statement issued here, today they said that these employees have been asked to report at Srinagar and they are camping there for last many days when they don’t have arrangements of boarding and lodging there.
They said under the prevailing circumstances in the Valley and harsh Winter conditions, the Government should allot quarters at suitable places to them and make their adjustment in their respective districts. They said presently these employees are facing lot of trouble as they have to report the office daily at Srinagar while the Department is not taking any decision in adjusting them.
They also demanded that the training of the employees should be postponed up to April in view of the prevailing conditions.
