JAMMU, Feb 28: In an online meeting, attended by voices from across the migrant Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community, it was unanimously decided to hold a mass protest—Adhikaar Rally—on March 23rd, the anniversary of the Nadimarg Massacre.
“This rally will be a direct challenge to those responsible for genocide of KPs, those who betrayed them, and those who continue to erase their struggle. It will mark a historic assertion of Kashmiri Hindus’ right to justice, recognition and reclamation of their homeland,” said Digamber Raina, general secretary, Youth 4 Panun Kashmir (Y4PK) while announcing the rally.
Dr Agnishekhar, founder & convenor, Panun Kashmir, emphasized that the Adhikaar Rally is not just a protest, but a historic reckoning. He stated, “For too long, the perpetrators of our genocide have walked free while successive Governments have failed to act. The time has come to break this cycle of denial. This rally will be a decisive moment in our struggle, a firm declaration that Kashmiri Hindus will not rest until justice is served and our right to return with full constitutional guarantees is ensured.”
Rahul Kaul, Chairperson, Apex Y4PK, emphasized that this rally will demand official recognition of the genocide and immediate action from the Government. He declared that Kashmiri Hindus will no longer allow their history to be rewritten.
Vithal Chowdhary, president, Y4PK, warned that traitors within the system who continue to suppress Kashmiri Hindu voices will be exposed. He called for urgent intervention to end decades of betrayal and injustice.
Shama Raina, Kashmira Vahini, highlighted the unheard stories of Kashmiri Hindu women, calling on all human rights defenders to support the community’s fight for dignity and recognition.
Ashwani Bhat (senior member, Panun Kashmir), Pintoo Ji Pandita (community leader), Rajesh Kachroo (Jammu, Panun Kashmir), said that the Adhikaar Rally is a final demand for justice. Every Kashmiri Hindu, every patriot, and every seeker of truth must stand together on March 23rd.
