JAMMU, Aug 21: The Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted two committees for supervising and facilitating handover and takeover of assets related to Toshakhana.
General Administration Department (GAD) in an order issued here today said that for the assets of Mubarak Mandi Jammu and Civil Secretariat Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu will be the convener of five-member committee while SSP Jammu, Director Hospitality and Protocol (Toshakhana Officer); Director Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K and Treasury Officer, Saddar Treasury, Jammu will be the members.
For the assets at Saddar Treasury and Central Store H&P, Srinagar, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar will be the convener while SSP Srinagar, Director H&P ( Toshakhana Officer), Director Archives, Archaeology and Museums J&K and Treasury Officer, Saddar Treasury Srinagar will be the members of the second committee.
