Pandits demand representation in council of ministers

JAMMU, Jan 16: All India Hindu Forum and Durga Nagar Welfare Committee in a joint meeting has made an appeal to the Chief Minister to give representation to the community in state council of ministers.
The meeting, which was chaired by D N Kissu chairman of the Forum said that KPs have for the first time been ignored in the state council of ministers since the independence of the country in 1947.
The meeting expressed the hope that Chief Minister will continue the precedence set by his grand father Sheikh Abdullah by giving the due representation to the community in the council of ministers at an earliest. The meeting was also addressed by Roshan Lal Raina president of the Forum, Pawan Ji, C L Zuthsi, Badri Nath, Bushsan Lal and others.
