JAMMU, Mar 31:  BJP J&K spokesperson, Purnima Sharma, today made a scathing attack on Pakistan saying that the country claiming to be an Islamic nation has no respect for humanity as it is continuing its age old policy of exporting terror and shedding innocent blood even during the holy month of Ramzan.
Talking to reporters here, today along with Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and senior leaders Parmod Kapahi at BJP Headquarters.
Purnima Sharma, said “It is disheartening to see Pakistan, an Islamic country, continuing its age-old policy of exporting terror and shedding innocent blood. The recent Rajbagh encounter, in which four brave soldiers attained martyrdom, is yet another grim reminder of Pakistan’s nefarious designs,” she stated.
She also strongly criticized the National Conference (NC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for persistently advocating dialogue with Pakistan, despite its relentless promotion of cross-border terrorism. “How can NC and PDP justify their stand on talks with a nation that does not even uphold the values of Islam? True Islam stands for peace, compassion, and justice. Yet, Pakistan, in the name of religion, has become a breeding ground for terror, violating every principle of humanity and faith,” she remarked.
Purnima reiterated that Pakistan has never respected the teachings of Islam and has instead used its name to fuel terrorism, creating havoc in Jammu and Kashmir and across the world.
The senior BJP leader lauded the security forces for their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation and assured that the BJP Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi remains steadfast in eliminating terrorism from Indian soil.
She urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to stand united against divisive forces and strengthen the vision of a peaceful and prosperous region. “Let us celebrate the sacred festivals like Eid and Navratri with the resolve to defeat terrorism and uphold the true values of our faiths,” she added.
