Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff reteam for musical ‘Molly and the Moon’

Los Angeles, Nov 6: “Frozen” stars Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff are set to reunite for upcoming original musical feature “Molly and the Moon”.
According to Deadline, the movie hails from “How I Met Your Mother” creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, who have written the script and will be directing the project.
Bell and Groff, who earlier starred as Princess Anna and Kristoff, respectively, in the “Frozen” series, will play an expectant couple who sing to their unborn child; the film also takes viewers inside the womb as the unborn girl utilizes her parents’ voices to reach “the moon” (birth).
The film is inspired by Thomas and his wife’s experience with their own newborn, who had a genetic condition that required surgery upon birth.
Nathan Larson will be composing music for the feature with Stephanie Diaz-Matos as music supervisor and Harvey Mason Jr as executive music producer. (PTI)

China successfully launches 13 satellites, including 10 for Argentina, with a single rocket

Beijing, Nov 6: China on Friday successfully sent 13 satellites, including 10 from Argentina, into the orbit in what was stated to be the biggest launch of foreign satellites by the country that could fetch hundreds of millions of dollars to the communist nation.
The satellites, including 10 commercial remote sensing satellites developed by Argentinian company Satellogic, blasted off atop a Long March-6 carrier rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre in north China’s Shanxi Province, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
According to officials, Friday’s launch was the 351st by the Long March rocket series.
Last year the official media reports said that China plans to launch 90 earth observation satellites for Satellogic.
China has been using its space rockets to put satellites of several countries, including close ally, Pakistan.
Though financial terms of the deal with Argentina were not disclosed, Fu Zhiheng, vice-president of Great Wall, the international arm of State-owned space conglomerate China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp, told state-run China Daily last year that the deal is at the level of hundreds of millions of US dollars.
That makes it one of the largest contracts China has obtained in the international space market in the past several years, he said.
It is also the first time that China will launch such a large number of satellites for a foreign client, Fu said, adding Great Wall will continue to promote the Long March 6 in the international market. (PTI)

Top Chinese official praises Lam for stabilising Hong Kong

Beijing, Nov 6:Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam received credit from a top Chinese official on Friday for restoring order and reviving the economy in the semi-autonomous territory.
Vice Premier Han Zheng, meeting Lam on the last day of her four-day visit to Beijing, said that her government had “overcome all kinds of difficulties and dealt with the challenges”.
Hong Kong was wracked by protests last year demanding fully democratic elections and opposing China’s expanding influence in city affairs. Lam, who was picked as leader by a committee dominated by pro-Beijing members, was accused of being too close to the central government.
China responded by enacting a national security law for Hong Kong earlier this year that has curtailed the protests, which were already dwindling because of COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings.
Han, one of seven members of the ruling Communist Party’s top leadership body, praised Lam’s government for its handling of the pandemic, easing the economic burden on the population, implementing the national security law and protecting the stability of Hong Kong.
Lam was accompanied by several top city officials, which she said demonstrates the breadth of Hong Kong’s integration into China’s national development.
She was heading to Guangdong, the southern province that borders Hong Kong, later Friday for economic talks on the Greater Bay Area, a region that also includes nearby Macao. (Agencies)

Scorpio : The one thing that we neglect the most about ourselves is health. But today you are unable to do that. Your health needs to be paid enough attention as you may be suffering from ailment/s. Try to regularise your routine along with healthy food and regular exercise, advises Ganesha.

Sagittarius : Whatever you take up today, you are on a winning spree, foresees Ganesha. A a leader, you will guide and instruct your subordinates when they seek your advise. In a way, you even encourage and motivate them. All in all, you are a happy soul at the end of the day!

Capricorn : Your accomplishments may take you on cloud nine today. Success may come easily to you, but don’t try your luck too much, advises Ganesha. Make the most of today as tomorrow may not the same as today. You will be popular today, especially in your social circle as you’ll impress everyone with your wit and humour.

Aquarius : You will go through some heavy mood swings today. And the people who know you well will get shocked and find it difficult to deal with you. Keep your guards on, and don’t take uncalled-for decisions, advises Ganesha, rather get your current assignments cross the finishing line.
