JAMMU, Aug 24: Senior BJP leader and former J&K Dy CM, Kavinder Gupta flayed People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) leaders’ meeting at Dr Farooq Abdullah’s residence where discussions on Article 370 were held “to befool Kashmiris”.
In a handout Gupta claimed that the same PAGD leaders even failed to utter a word about Article 370 at All Party Meeting (APM) chaired by PM Modi on June 24, 2021 at New Delhi.
The BJP leader also said that deep inside their hearts, the PAGD leaders also know that restoration of Article 370 is next to impossible but to mislead the people of Kashmir again and again they are using the age old tactics of deceit and deception to create an atmosphere against the prolific policies of BJP Government.
“Every citizen of J&K knows the intention behind this group of so called public representatives and therefore their designs to derail the peace and development process initiated by Modi government in J&K will surely fail,” Gupta claimed.
He said, had PAGD leaders really wanted to uplift the people of J&K, they would have demanded more industry and avenues to promote tourism especially international as it is the mainstay of J&K UT.
