SRINAGAR, Nov 10: More than 53,000 pensioners in Jammu and Kashmir have successfully submitted their Digital Life Certificates (DLCs) under the ongoing DLC Campaign 4.0.
The campaign, launched earlier this month across all districts, is part of a nationwide initiative of the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) aimed at making the life certificate submission process easier and fully digital.
It allows pensioners to verify their life certificates online through Jeevan Pramaan and Aadhaar Face RD mobile applications, removing the need to visit banks or treasuries in person.
To assist senior citizens, especially the elderly and differently-abled, facilitation camps have been established in Government offices and bank branches.
Meanwhile, authorities have urged the remaining pensioners to complete the process at the earliest to avoid any disruption in pension disbursement.
