Oppn leaders to meet PM today

JAMMU, Aug 21: A delegation of opposition parties from Jammu and Kashmir will tomorrow meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apprise him of their views on current unrest in Kashmir.
The meeting of the opposition leaders, who will be led by former Chief Minister and NC working president Omar Abdullah, with the Prime Minister has been scheduled for 9.30 am tomorrow, official sources said.
Meanwhile, the opposition leaders today met AICC (I) vice president Rahul Gandhi at his residence in New Delhi and apprised him on the prevailing situation in the Kashmir valley.
They were with Rahul Gandhi for about an hour during which they gave their perception of the situation.
Yesterday, the opposition leaders had met President Pranab Mukherjee and sought political solution to Kashmir problem.
The opposition delegation also included PCC (I) president GA Mir and CPM MLA M Y Tarigami.
“Discussed the current political crisis in J and K with a delegation of opp(osition) leaders from the State led by @abdullah_omar (Omar Abdullah),” Rahul Gandhi tweeted after the meeting.
