BHADARWAH, June 24: Operator of a JCB machine here today killed at Rajpura road after the machine fell from the road.
As per police sources the JCB machine bearing registration number JK02-DH-8520, which was being operated by Mohd Waseem, 23, son of Ab. Majeed Najar, resident of Thanalla (Bhaderwah), fell 50 feet down from the road at work site Rajpura road leaving the operator dead on the spot.
Immediately after the accident, local volunteers along with cops under the supervision of ASP Bhaderwah Vinod Sharma retrieved the operator and shifted him to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
After post-mortem and other legal formalities, body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
Police has registered a case in this regard in FIR with number 67/2025 U/S 289/106 BNS at Police Station Gandoh and investigation of the case was given to PSI Pankaj Manhas.
